As our kids wind down their 11u season and some folks are looking around for better opportunities for their players, was curious if anyone else has noticed the lack of AAA teams in the age group?

I notice 2-3 players on many AA teams that could hang in AAA...and maybe a few players that are filling roster spots until the coach can find someone better. Quite a few AAA teams playing down in AA tournaments to boost morale after getting shelled in AAA.

What's stopping some of the better AA teams from attracting talent and moving up? Why are so many AA/AAA teams so watered down? Too many teams?
