The KSU Baseball Staff is happy to announce the return of our 4 week Hitting, Pitching, and Catching Player Development Camps. The camps return this August on Wednesday nights and will run in August, October, Nov/Dec, and January. The hitting camp will run from 7:00-8:15 while the pitching and catching camps will run from 8:15-9:30. The Hitting Camp will cover topics such as optimal swing movements, approach, bat speed development, 2 strike approach, and mental game. The pitching camp will cover topics including mechanical efficiency, velocity improvement, reading hitters, secondary pitch development, understanding of personal spin rate and how to use that to your advantage, and mental game. Finally the catching camp will cover topics such as receieving, blocking, throwing, arm strength development, calling a game, and Umpire/Catcher & Pitcher/Catcher relationship.
