The 12u Cherokee Angels will be holding open tryouts for the 2010 Fall/2011 Spring squad July 31, 2010 and again on August 7, 2010 at Thomas Field in Hickory Flat from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. both days.
Thomas Field is located behind the Children's Academy Of Hickory Flat in Cherokee County. The address is 4360 Hickory Road, Canton, 30115
It is across the road from Sequoyah High School.
Private tryouts can be arranged if necessary.
We are a first year travel team based in Cherokee County. A few players on the team have played Travel and or All-Stars before. For the fall, we plan to start practicing in late August 2010 and will end in mid November 2010 and will play in a few tournaments and scrimmage games (We will work around football if needed). For the spring, we plan to start practicing in January 2011 (indoor facility) with games starting in late February and ending in late June or early July 2011. We plan to finish the season at Cooperstown.
We are looking for players and families who are interested in playing baseball at a higher competitive level. All positions are considered open and everyone is welcome.

In that email, please provide us with contact information, a bit of background on your player including past teams on which he was a member and position(s) played.

We're looking for versatile, well-rounded baseball players. We are not looking for players that only play one position.
