The 2013 Roswell Green Hornets will be holding tryouts for next season's team on Saturday, July 14th - from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Tryouts will be Held at Hembree Park in Roswell - Fields 3 and 4. The 2012 team is finishing a very successful year of AAA baseball - Having played about 60 games as we head to Panama City Beach for our season ending tournament.
Once the team is selected - we will hold weekly fall practices and a light schedule of several tournaments. We will move indoors during winter for twice weekly cage work - before moving outside for Spring Practices beginning in early February.
The 2013 team will be ending the season at Cooperstown - and we will play in approximately 12 other tournaments during the season. Outside of the trip to New York - we will play almost all of our tournaments in the North Georgia area (No additional overnight travel).
Anyone is welcome to tryout at no charge - but travel experieince is a plus. Also - you must be registered with the City of Roswell. You can register either in person at the Roswell Park Offices (Phone # 770-641-3822) or online at www.roswellgov.com. Registration code is 43002-03. You do not have to be a resident of Roswell to tryout.
