14 U Travel/Select/Development Program
Tyler Best presents "The Best Show in Town" MyScoutDay Warriors of College Park, GA

MyScoutDay Warriors 14 U ( Major ) will be managed and trained by Tyler Best. Tyler has college & professional experience as a player. This program is designed for those that are committed to learning and developing as young men through baseball. The MSD Warriors organization will practice 2 times a week. These practices will consist of inter-squad scrimmages, live games, defensive situations, quality bullpens, batting cage work, as well as many other college and professional prep practices. 14U is the most crucial time for the development to the "big field" 90/60.6 and this program/organization is designed to make that leap easier through a 10-month program starting in the fall 2012 lasting through the summer of 2013. We will have a fall schedule with area teams as well as host and attend tournaments within the Atlanta area until we start traveling in the spring/summer season.

At any travel baseball programs should be designed to develop players abilities so each player can reach the most advantageous way to succeed in their high school programs first. The MyScoutDay Warriors were created to advocate team training & instruction in a 10-month period & have the trainer & coach stay with the team throughout the year. It's a win/win situation for the players and the coaches to be committed to the team for whole year. This team will be a top tier team because the program is designed for quality not quantity. Our players will be in an organization that is committed to them as players. Practices are designed for all of our athletes to be working on baseball for the longevity of practice i.e.( no standing around ).

MSD College Park Warriors Policy

The MyScoutDay Warriors of College Park will hold tryouts in late July / early August 2012 and form team rosters that will compete through July of the 2013 summer. Our program philosophy offers the following commitment to you:

(1) During the Fall, from late August through late November, the MSD Warriors practice or compete a minimum of two days per week. We are advocates of athletes competing in other sports and this process allows for that commitment in the fall.

(2) In the months of January, and February, the MSD Warriors teams practice a minimum of two times per week. During this time of the year, we incorporate physical conditioning as well as more one-on-one instruction in a facility. The one-on-one instruction or groups allows to prepare the players for the rigors of the upcoming baseball season.

(3) In the spring/summer season March through July, the MSD Warriors practice or compete a minimum of three days per week completing the season in mid to late July. The spring season begins as the school season is wrapping up. Players commitments to their school teams come first. The MSD Warriors start mandatory practicing only when the school season is wrapping up and as most players are becoming available.

(4) The MyScoutDay Warriors program guarantees a minimum of 60 games and 50 practices during its 10-Month season. Regularly, the numbers in both categories well exceeds these totals.

(5) The MSD Warriors of College Park are designed to provide a practice and game environment that will connect the tools of baseball with each and every player. Our coaching staff is built around certified collegiate and professional coaches and players that instruct with the highest degree of professionalism.
