From what i can tell on the new USSSA stamped bats there is absolutely no differnce in the pop/power generated from these bats than the previous bats with no stamps. I understand they wanted to make a guideline for use but what is the purpose of the guidline if these hot bats were not tuned down for the players safety. Until they can prove otherwise I consider this a complete money grab by the bat companies along with USSSA. Shameful.

The whole BPF test is garbage as well. They measure the amount of trampoline effect off a stationary bat with a ball shot at it traveling 60 mph. It doesn't take into account swing speed, etc. Also, they use brand new bats and if you have a composite bat, it's not broken in so it only gets hotter! It's just plain dumb!
