Savannah lost to Warriors 6-3, then got a win versus Sting 5-2.

Savannah...not quite sure what your referring too! You're kidding right. A kid from the hobgood Braves helped us field a full team this weekend. FYI...Hobgood is 5 miles from East Cobb and 2,137 miles from California! Wow!

A great shut out 6 inning gem by OUR lefty is what Im sure you were trying to compliment right? Hope so, cuz you guys got a great team and we enjoyed the challenge of playing your outstanding team. Thank you for making the trip and we wish you the best of luck the remainder of the season...

Great job to your lefty. He is a great kid. Your whole team Is filled with great kids. It's a shame the season for them has had so much drama off the field because they certainly had the talent on the field. Good luck down the road for these boys and I hope they finish strong.

Congratulations to this weekend's Champions. Lot's of miles on my car bouncing between the two venues. My son asked if we can buy a motorhome! Atlanta Blue Jays looked very good over the weekend. Was surprised by certain teams but heard that Hurricanes were down to 10 players but added a AA player from their other 11u team. Saw the same ole' at ECb this weekend...more drama. Loved watching the TOC championship game...quality play.

Awesome baseball at the TOC this weekend. Saw the parents on several teams holding their breath as their team pitched to through the hearts of the opposing team's lineup. All of the bracket play produced some really awesome defensive plays and some very timely hits. From small ball to long ball they had it all. My hat's off to all of the teams who participated in this tournament and for all that battled it out on Sunday from start to finish. LOL, had no issue with the bathrooms at EC btw. LOL

I saw one team using that Easton XL 2.15 a bunch this weekend and I can't wait for next year for that bat to be gone!

I want to say a big thanks to the East Cobb Astros for allowing my son a chance to play with the big boys this weekend. We don't come from Cali but do play AAA. He has some memories that will last forever. The parents on this team were AWESOME. Loved the competition of this tournament. My first time seeing some of the power teams play. Was fun just to watch game to game. I didn't see any extra drama than any other tourney. Umps make bad calls and parents watch in different ways. Nothing new there or any ball game. Just go watch some peewee AllStar tourneys!!! Clean park, working restrooms, scoreboards that keep score. What else could you ask for?

Why can't you wait for that particular bat to be banned? It's 2.15 and it's legal. ?????????

ATK - it was banned from LL for a reason and a 2yr old bat that is no longer made sells for $500+ on ebay for a reason and when you see it in action it's very clear it's hotter than anything out there. So yes I can't wait for it to be gone next year. Plus I've now see two balls come very close to hitting a pitcher before he has had any chance to make a defensive move. Not saying it wouldn't happen with another bat but this thing is on a whole other level and should be banned now IMO.

If that's the case with that bat then I agree. However I've seen some kids hit shots with the exo, prodigy and others at this age and this year that have gotten to a pitcher before they could react. It all depends on who's swinging the bat and the pitchers reaction. I know of one kid who caught a pitcher on the leg before he could react this past week at the TOC and he was swinging an exo.

I only know of one kid that used the bat in question and haven't seen him go up the middle with a linedrive that I can recall. I have seen him pop a few "outta here" though.
