What was the story with that Douglas County team that had to forfeit both pool games? Caused all kinds of headaches with the brackets.

I think they used some illegal players....there's some players that are now on the suspension list.

They had two players on the team that was 14 with fake names

USSSA State tourneys is where it happens the most...seen it before...twice. "Oh, we didn't know, blah, blah, blah". Then the kids cry and all the parents get angry. Terrible scene. Very sad. Glad USSSA has been taking steps to clean it up for a few years now. They still have some work to do, so I'm encouraging them to finish the drill.

Absolutely ridiculous. I heard something like this happened recently at 11U too. I am not trying to be naive but REALLY??

Pretty dumb to be entering a tournament where other teams from the same area are also playing, if you're using overage kids. You think someone on the other squads doesn't know if one of your players will be a HS freshman next fall?
