The rising 13U Sandy Plains Prowlers will participate in the Sandy Plains Baseball Academy hosted tryout on Saturday morning, July 14 from 9:00-12:00 at Harrison Park Field-2. For those players with a conflict, the Prowlers will host separate tryouts on Wednesday night, July 11 from 7:30-9:30 at Harrison Park Field-2 and on Sunday afternoon, July 29 from 4:00-6:30 at Harrison Park Field-2. Harrison Park is located adjacent to Lassiter High School at 2653 Shallowford Road in Marietta. Sandy Plains Baseball requires each prospective player to register online and pay a one-time $25 tryout fee. A player is required to attend at least one of the three tryouts. The 13U Prowlers are a rising fourth-year travel team and will play at the high AAA/Major level. The Prowlers completed the 2018 regular season with five tournament championships and a record of 54-10. The Prowlers will finish the 2018 season on July 20-27 at Cooperstown Dreams Park. The past three seasons, the Prowlers have won a combined 155 games, including 12 championships and nine runner-up finishes.
