The Sandy Plains Wildcats 11U will be holding tryouts on Sunday, July 15th from 2-5pm. The tryout will be run in a clinic type setting by professional instructors from the Sandy Plains Baseball Academy. Players will be put through 3 hours of drills and baseball situations.
SPBA is forming a new Wildcats team and are looking for hard working players ready to focus and grow. We will utilize a professional coach to run practices.
We need ambitious players who want to learn, improve and have the drive and motivation to play aggressively. Players must be coachable and driven with a high level of respect for the game and teammates/coaches. Boys are expected to have a positive attitude and give 100% at practice and in games. Strong pitching and travel experience is a plus.
Our team will have a light fall schedule consisting of pitching/hitting instruction, outdoor practices, professional instruction and 3-4 tournaments. The spring season will consist of two practices per week and approximately 10 tournaments plus a destination tournament. We possess a Cooperstown certificate for next year's 12U season.
