TRIPLE CROWN D2 & D3 FALL STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS (8U-18U)

Divisions: 8u - 18u
Format: 3 Game Guarantee
Entry Deadline: Oct. 29, 2018
FULL WEEKEND EVENT FOR ALL AGE GROUPS.
FOR 9U-14U THIS IS A D2/D3 EXCLUSIVE EVENT. D1 (MAJOR/HIGH AAA) TEAMS MAY PARTICIPATE, HOWEVER, THEY MUST PLAY UP AN AGE DIVISION.
FOR 8U AND 15U-18U, THIS IS CONSIDERED AN OPEN EVENT.
Event Format: 8U-13U METAL/WOOD | 14U-18U Wood Bat Only
3 game minimum guarantee. 2 pool games and then into single elimination.
Age Cutoff Date
May 1, 2019
Depending on the amount of teams entered into your specific age group, there could be a possibility of splitting into multiple brackets playing for their own Championships. These "Gold", "Silver", and "Bronze" Championship teams will be determined by results from pool play. In order to break out into these separate brackets, we need a minimum of 16 teams (Gold and Silver). Another bracket will be added for every 8 teams thereafter.

10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 26th at the latest.
Gate Fee:
$5 for Adults
$3 for Children 12 and Under
Children 5 and Under are FREE
Please Note: All gate money collected for any SE Triple Crown Franchise event goes straight back to our supporting our facility partners, concessions, and field workers to ensure the long-term health and partnership of providing PREMIUM events on a yearly basis. SE Triple Crown Baseball does not keep ANY money collected at any of our events (Prepaid $150 team gate when available, or Individual gate fees).

For 15u-18u ONLY:
Additional Berth to the USBC in Richmond, Virginia

Equipment Required for Participants
Please be sure to upload your COMPLETE team roster for the event prior to your first game. Once you step foot on the field for your first game, your roster is LOCKED and you cannot additional players to your team. All players on the roster are required to have their Authorization Waivers completed before playing. Additionally, all teams are asked to carry all birth certificates on them at all times, in the event of a protest.
**TCS does NOT provide baseballs for this event. All teams provide 2 new baseballs and 1 used baseball per game. Get them back from the umpires at the end of each game.**
Please remember to warm up in turfs or tennis shoes at all facilities, and then change over to cleats/spikes right before game time.
This is a 'Stay to Play Event': All out of town teams traveling 100 miles or over to the event are required to book their hotel rooms through the approved Triple Crown partner hotels under the Triple Crown room block, as well as report your lodging to be accepted into the tournament. *OUR TOURNAMENTS ARE STAY TO PLAY EVENTS* Failure to comply will result in your team having to pay the lodging surcharge or being disqualified to participate in the event. Our hotel partners are located on the event home page under the lodging tab. Triple Crown has secured hotels and has the lowest group rate guaranteed. Who's Coming: Division II and Division III Georgia Fall State Championships
November 2nd-November 4th
82 teams competed in this event in 2017!
Please Note: If your team is `Penciled In`, but have not completed payment, your spot is NOT guaranteed until your registration is received in the Triple Crown office. Once paid, your team will go from lowercase to all caps. ALL entries must be received in the office no later than the MONDAY prior to the tournament. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
This is a Division II and Division III exclusive event! Division I (Major/High AAA Type teams) may participate. HOWEVER, they MUST play up an age groups.
