Grinders Baseball will be holding two open tryouts - Tuesday, July 16th and Thursday, July 18th - on the Whitefield Academy baseball field from 6pm to 7:30pm. If you are interested in attending, please send us your son’s information to pstarbaseball@gmail.com.

Here is our team’s information:
PrepStar Grinders Baseball, a travel baseball program based out of Smyrna / Cobb County, is seeking players for the upcoming 14U season that are interested in long-term development designed to maximize each player’s opportunity to play college baseball. After a successful inaugural 2019 season playing a competitive AAA and Majors schedule, we are looking to expand our roster to include players at the following positions: Catcher, Pitcher and SS.
Team Advisor Mike Shaheen, who has headed up several varsity baseball programs in the Atlanta metro area, will work closely with the team’s coaching staff in the evaluation of the prospective players. Each player selected for the team will receive a customized development plan designed to improve their baseball skills. Throughout the season, the coaching staff will meet with the players and parents to measure each player’s progress towards their developmental plan.
Weekly practices will begin in August 2019 and will continue throughout the course of the season ending in June 2020. Practices will be held at Whitefield Academy’s baseball complex and will include weekly outdoor team and positional sessions as well as indoor practices at the school’s state of the art indoor facility.
During the off-season, the team will conduct speed & conditioning training along with a throwing program at Pinnacle Prospects, the premier indoor training facility in Atlanta.

| Unlike many other program in Atlanta, there is no cost for attending one of our tryouts next week. Please come and check us out. We are confident that like what you see. |

| For anyone interested in trying out for the Grinders, we will be having an open tryout on Saturday, July 20th at 9AM at Whitefield Academy rather than tonight. Details are in a separate posting. |
