East Cherokee Warriors will be holding tryouts for their 9U team on:
Saturday August 3rd from 11:30-1:30pm and August 10th from 11:30-1:30pm – Mountain Road Elementary School (part of East Cherokee fields are in back of school) – Woodstock

Each player will be put through an extensive evaluation regardless of what position they have been playing in. The evaluations will consist of hitting, pitching, fielding and running. If you have catcher’s gear, please bring that with you as well.
We are going to play at competitive A/AA tournaments and looking to transition into a AAA tourney if the kids are working hard, progressing at the rate to be competitive and we feel we can hold our own. This is not Daddy ball and not a coaching staff that screams at kids.
The family dynamic is just as important to have a fun season. Please remember these are 9-year-old kids looking to play baseball and not get drafted next week. We work hard with the kids and will play 1-2 tourneys in the Fall and then 8+ in the spring. We have access to fields out of Sequoyah Park and an indoor facility as needed so we are not scrambling to find practice space.
