Our 14u baseball club is actively looking for 2-3 more highly dedicated athletes to complete our 2020 season roster. We will conduct a team practice session on Field 2 at Roper Park in Jasper Ga on Sunday 2/20/20 and we will gladly welcome new athletes who would like the opportunity to tryout for our organization.
Smokin Aces is a highly competitive 14u baseball club based out of Jasper Ga. During the 2020 season we plan to compete at the AAA/ Major levels with an emphasis on Ga regional Perfect Game tournaments and Prep Baseball Report tournaments at Lakepoint. We will begin tournament play in April and continue through June with our grand finale in early July at the Perfect Game Nationals in Alabama at the Hoover Met. The team is managed by Jason Nunn, an extraordinarily experienced baseball coach who is committed to teaching and development athletes who strive to the ultimate goal of baseball excellence. Nunn’s coaching skills are derived from an impeccable baseball career and journey which includes the following: 1) he played NCAA Division 1 baseball, 2) he holds a record as the 2000 NCAA D1 statistical leader, 3) he was drafted out of college by the New York Yankees and played professionally for the NY Yankees organization, 4) he coached high-school baseball as head coach for 12 years, 5) he has coached travel baseball for the last 6 years for a total of 18 years coaching experience.
Smokin Aces’ roster consists of very experienced players who have competed in travel league on various teams since they were 8u and have now joined together to form the high caliber 14u Smokin Aces. |
