The 14U Prowlers have one Final Roster Spot open. We have 11 returning players from last season and plan to go to 14 total players this season. Candidate must be a successful pitcher.. Candidate is any player born after May 1, 2007 OR is currently in the 8th grade and does not turn 16 prior to May 1, 2022.
Ryan Rodebaugh will be returning as Head Coach for the 2021-2022 season. Ryan played for Sprayberry High School and went on to play at the University of Kennesaw. In Ryan's Junior year at Kennesaw, he was drafted by the Texas Rangers organization where he played for 5 seasons. Ryan went on to play his last 2 professional seasons with the Saint Paul Saints.
Our successful candidates are hard-working, coachable, driven young men that have a high-level of respect for the game and their teammates/coaches. The boys are expected to give 100% effort when they step between the chalk lines. Strong pitching and travel experience is a plus. We are looking for ballplayers with great families. If any candidates are pursuing a PO role, we'll offer those positions at a reduced rate.
We will build on the last 5 years of success that we have achieved as a team. We have played at the Major level for the past 3 seasons and will continue to challenge our boys against that level of talent. We are a Fall Friendly Sports Team; however, we expect that Baseball is the only Spring/Summer sport for our players when the high school teams finish up. We will play Fall baseball through the end of October. Our Spring/Summer season will begin with the completion of the High School JV baseball programs.
