Ask your kid. What do you want?
An easy question that reveals what you need to be doing versus what you are doing.
I have yet to hear a kid say I just want to win trophies. They all say “I want to make the majors.”
So does focusing on winning trophies get you to the majors? Maybe, Maybe not but wouldn’t you want to know what a programs focus is and if lines up with what you want.
