The "Original" 12th Annual 2018 All-Star Showdown will be held in Woodstock, Georgia from May 30th through June 3rd for the following age groups: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 & 14 year old's. The Showdown is the largest and most popular all-star baseball tournament in the southeast.
This tournament averages 150 teams per year and is continuously growing every year. This year we expect to have even more teams as we continue to offer the best tournament experience. We have joined forces with Cherokee Parks and Rec Authority (CRPA) and will be playing at the county's finest facilities. This event will be held at JJ Biello Park, the newly renovated Hobgood Park (upper complex), Patriots Park, Mauldin Park (home of Canton Dizzy Dean), Sequoyah Park (home of East Cherokee Baseball), and Weatherby Park. All the facilities offer full service concession stands, most have batting cages, and outstanding fields.
The "A" division teams will be separated from the "B/C" division teams when applicable. The total number & types of divisions & brackets will be determined by the number & types of participating teams. The final tournament format per age group will be at the tournament directors discretion based upon these factors.
We will play Dizzy Dean rules with several modifications for this tournament, however, this tournament is open to any All-Star team (Dizzy Dean, USSSA, Ripken, Pony, Dixie Youth, Little League, etc...)
***All-Star Baseball WILL allow the use of USSSA BPF 1.5 bats as well as the new USA bats***
NO TRAVEL TEAMS ALLOWED!

The "Original" 12th Annual 2018 All-Star Showdown will be held in Woodstock, Georgia from May 30th through June 3rd for the following age groups: 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 & 14 year old's. The Showdown is the largest and most popular all-star baseball tournament in the southeast.
This tournament averages 150 teams per year and is continuously growing every year. This year we expect to have even more teams as we continue to offer the best tournament experience. We have joined forces with Cherokee Parks and Rec Authority (CRPA) and will be playing at the county's finest facilities. This event will be held at JJ Biello Park, the newly renovated Hobgood Park (upper complex), Patriots Park, Mauldin Park (home of Canton Dizzy Dean), Sequoyah Park (home of East Cherokee Baseball), and Weatherby Park. All the facilities offer full service concession stands, most have batting cages, and outstanding fields.
The "A" division teams will be separated from the "B/C" division teams when applicable. The total number & types of divisions & brackets will be determined by the number & types of participating teams. The final tournament format per age group will be at the tournament directors discretion based upon these factors.
We will play Dizzy Dean rules with several modifications for this tournament, however, this tournament is open to any All-Star team (Dizzy Dean, USSSA, Ripken, Pony, Dixie Youth, Little League, etc...)
***All-Star Baseball WILL allow the use of USSSA BPF 1.5 bats as well as the new USA bats***
