Hey 643,
My name is Rich McKenna.I am the 11u/12u manager for Team Elite. I will be head coaching our major level 12u team.This will be my 4th time coaching 12u @ the major level(12 years altogether). I have also taken 5 different teams to Cooperstown. Please refer to the link above for tryout info.

What is the difference between these tryouts and the tryouts that were held in June? I understand that June was “Team Elite Sluggers” and that these tryouts are for “Team Elite”, but:
• What is the difference between the two?
• Does one team play at a higher level than the other?
• Does a player just try out for one and not the other?
• Can a player tryout for both?
• Can a player make both?
• Who decides which team the player should play on?
• Do players sometimes ‘guest’ play on different teams within the organization?

What is the difference between the two? -- Elite Sluggers is dad coached on weekends. Team Elite is 100% professional coached
• Does one team play at a higher level than the other? We have teams at all levels from AA to Major
• Does a player just try out for one and not the other? Players can tryout for wither or both
• Can a player tryout for both?
• Can a player make both? No player only plays for one team
• Who decides which team the player should play on? parents/player will decide based on offer(s) provided
• Do players sometimes ‘guest’ play on different teams within the organization? Yes - in event of injuries, vacations or other conflicts, teams do borrow players from other teams within the organization
