The 13U Cherokee Reds – Black team for the 2018/2019 season will be having tryouts at Barnett Park (10795 Bells Ferry Road, Canton GA 30114) on the following dates.
Saturday, July 14th 9:00 AM – 12:00 pm
Monday, July 16th 6:00 - 8:30 pm
(Rainout date: Saturday July 21st)
Field Location: Front Field 1 at Barnett Park
*A release waiver will be need to be signed before your child is allowed on the field.
**Catchers please bring your gear
This is a returning AAA team building on the success of the 12U Reds-Black team with 3 tournament wins and 2 runners up for the season. An excellent group of players and parents.

Operating since 1996, the Reds are the longest standing travel baseball organization in Cherokee County with a strong history of fielding competitive teams in a family friendly environment, and building our players skills and character. As a non-profit organization, budgets are reasonable as well with several sponsors (some players were fully funded by sponsors last year).
Reds practices will be at both Barnett Park in Canton as well as an indoor facility in Woodstock. Barnett Park is our dedicated Reds facility, so we decide when and how often we practice and scrimmage.

Coaches for this team include Bryan Blough who pitched in the White Sox minor league organization as well as at KSU, and Clayton Cross who played at East Georgia State.
13U Reds Black is looking for 3 players with strong travel level pitching experience or strong defensive catchers. We believe that all players at this level should have both a primary infield and outfield position to develop skills for their versatility as they approach high school. |

Cherokee Reds Black 13u tryouts have been rescheduled to Monday, July 16th at 6:30-8:30
and Wednesday, July 18th from 6:30-8:30.
Private tryouts also available.
Additionally we are adding a 3rd Pro coach with minor league infield experience who has coached at the HS and majors level in GA. This gives us 3 coaches/instructors with college/pro level experience and two of them have coached 13+ yr old players at the majors level. And a coach/manager with more than 20 years of experience. |
