The Forsyth Central Dirtbags will be holding tryouts for the 2019 14U spring season in the next few weeks. We just finished up our 2018 13U season in a Chattanooga wood bat tournament and are looking to build on what we accomplished this year.
Workouts will be held at the Forsyth Central High School baseball complex in Cumming. There is no fee for the tryout, but we will require pre-registration so we know what to expect from your player.
There is a chance of rain this weekend that may impact the workouts. I will post here if plans change and individually contact those who have registered and confirmed they are attending.
Thanks to everyone who attended our open workouts. We are in the process of finalizing our roster now. If you weren't able to attend, and would like to schedule an individual workout, please contact us to set something up.
We've been asked by several people about our coaches so I'll answer here as to not have to answer everyone individually.

Wayne Balthazor Playing experience: Catcher - Kansas State Coaching experience: 7 years youth baseball
Brian Bull Playing experience: Pitcher - Newberry College Coaching experience: 5 years youth baseball, 10 years high school baseball (current Forsyth Central HS pitching coach)
We're still open to adding a few more players to our roster. We have not scheduled any official workouts, but please get in touch with us if you are interested. Depending on the response, we will either schedule a group workout or individual sessions. Not looking for any particular positions as we like to add athletes who can play multiple positions. Having said that, everyone can always use more pitching.
