We are having a tryout this weekend!
14u team is looking for a couple major players. We have players from the Gwinnett area, Forsyth, north Fulton. We'll practice in north Gwinnett area. We are willing to look at players from further out that could make a few practices at the start of the season and then just show up for tournaments.
Andrew Cooley will serve as one of the coaches for this team.
-Cooley played baseball at South Forsyth High School from 2009-2012.
-He played college baseball for Augusta State and Virginia Intermont.
-He served as an assistant coach for Southern Prospects 18u, Georgia Canes 13u and Georgia Canes 16u teams.
The team already has 8-9 players major players from the region involved and is looking for several others. We anticipate carrying 12 players. A catcher is the biggest area of need. Experience in the outfield is a plus, but we are open to every position.
The team will play about 4 tournaments in the fall and 10-12 in the spring/summer. We will concentrate on playing Perfect Game events with some other tournaments mixed in (Triple Crown, Training Legends, etc.)
Estimated fees for the year will be $1800.
