Dingers Athletics 13u is looking for baseball players to help fill their current roster for the upcoming season. We are looking for AAA level players who are looking to develop and grow not only as baseball players, but more importantly as young men.
Coaching Staff
This team will be coached by a paid professionals who have over a combined 10+ years in the travel baseball world from ages 9u-16u. The Head Coach of the the team will be Tyler White who has been coaching the last 7 years at multiple organizations such as Smash Baseball, GA Select, North Georgia Bandits, and East Cobb Astros/Colt .45's. Tyler will be bringing a high school style coaching philosophy and atmosphere to this 13u team as in preparations for the high school level these players will be attending in the next 1-2 years.
Practices
Outdoor practices will be constructed at Signature Park, and Buford City Park. Indoor practices will be at our 10,000sq ft indoor facility located in Buford. We will be training indoors weekly for hitting, pitching, and catching development, along with a winter throwing program to prepare the players for the upcoming 2020 Spring/Summer seasons along with 1-2 outdoor practices weekly as well to work on defensive development.
Tournaments
-4 Fall Tournaments which will consist of Perfect Game, Prep Baseball Report (Lakepoint) and possibly Training Legends.
-10-12 Spring/Summer tournaments which will consist of Perfect Game, Prep Baseball Report, Triple Crown, and Training Legends which includes 2-3 tournaments being out of state.
-World Series can be one of the following: beach tournament (FL/AL), Omaha Slumpbuster (College World Series), or Ripken Experience (Myrtle Beach).
Tryout Information
When: Friday, July 12th
Where: West Hall High School Baseball Field
Address: 5500 McEver Rd. Oakwood, GA 30566
Time: 6:00pm-9:00pm (Registration begins at 5:15)
Style: Players will be going through a Pro Style Workout which will evaluate and assess players on their abilities on the baseball field through all aspects of the game.
If you plan on attending the tryout please send email with the following information: players name, height/weight, positions, throwing hand, batting side, former teams, high school, graduation year.
