Team GA Baseball Academy will be conducting open tryouts for its 2019/2020 academy teams for ages 11-18U. Team GA tryouts will be conducted by Chris McRaney, Taylor Morton, Randy Phares, and Matt Campbell, along with assistance from other Team GA coaches. Dates https://tgbabaseball.com/2019-2020-tryout-information-dates-times/
Tryout clinics will be held at multiple locations in the Atlanta area. Those locations are Riverwood HS, Milton HS and Denmark HS.
Old Milton HS- 86 School Dr. Alpharetta GA. Serving Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell, Cumming areas
Denmark HS- Serving Forsyth County, North Fulton County, Gwinnett County, Hall County, and North GA Mountains
Milton HS- Serving Alpharetta, Milton, and Roswell and areas
Riverwood HS- Serving the Buckhead, Atlanta, South Atlanta, Cobb County areas
All of the above are locations we use as an organization. These various geographical options for tryouts and practice were secured to accommodate more families in the Atlanta area, as we understand logistics can sometimes make getting kids to tryouts/practice/games can be challenging. Therefore, our hope is that providing these additional options for locations will make that somewhat easier. You can see more information about how these multiple locations can benefit our family under our FAQ section.

Due to the interest level and so many vacation conflicts, we will offer an option for rising 14u players who had conflicts to attend a session PRIOR to the published formal makeup dates in August. Interested players MUST email rpharesteamga@gmail.com to confirm interest in attending in order to register for tryout options (a one off / small group makeup) in July. High AAA/Major spots only.
The only other makeup options after this are published on the TGBA website for early August. https://tgbabaseball.com/2019-2020-tryout-information-dates-times/ |

Team Georgia Gold is looking for 2 final players – major level to round out our top team. Pitching a plus, but not required. We have launched the ACES Nation platform for recruiting and scholarship assistance along with the tuition rewards program. Team Georgia is the only program in Georgia with exclusive rights to the modules. The platform is included for Team Georgia players. https://acesnationmember.com/team-georgia-baseball/
With limited baseball scholarship money, the platform offers student athletes a way to accumulate significant tuition reduction to fill the gaps. NCAA Division I baseball recruits only the top players nationally and it is not uncommon for players to be recruited by big league teams before they enter college. Typically, coaches can divide their scholarships into awards for 27-30 players. Out of the 298 DI baseball programs, each school is allowed to offer a maximum of 11.7 scholarships per team. Roughly 242 colleges are NCAA DII programs and allow 9 full tuition scholarships. Partial tuition is common in DII which gives coaches flexibility in creating their roster. DIII baseball has the most schools participating, with 408 programs. However, DIII programs are prohibited from offering scholarships as a recruiting incentive. Rather, there are general athletic grants and academic scholarships that are offered in order to recruit talent to the campus.
Please contact rpharesteamga@gmail.com to coordinate a workout.
