Parents & Players,
With many seasons either lost or delayed and just starting in various capacities, it is also impacting the normal “rush” to tryout for new seasons. Fields are limited and ones that are available will be operating at capacity with tournaments much deeper into the summer than normal.
Between the above and our continued prudence related to the Covid-19 virus, instead of the “mass tryouts” we will be conducting modified evaluations / smaller sessions for the upcoming 9u – 14u seasons for the necessary safety of all current and future Team Georgia families.
If you are interested in joining our mailing list for updates on evaluations, please register for free http://www.123formbuilder.com/form-5488014/form so that we can keep you informed related to the evaluation process.

Many parents discuss technical details on this board, but we don't hear enough about the inner workings of these organizations. Details that often separate the good from the great and the bad from the ugly.
Based upon some mixed experiences in another market:
1.) Do you have an open door policy and welcome occasional questions from parents about scheduling practices or how money is allocated?
2.) Is full financial transparency available to those writing a check and making a huge commitment of their time to the TG program? IOW can the customers see exactly where all the money is going...to whom and to which tournaments, etc.?
3.) Do you communicate using formats that permit a reply-all with questions, such as email or the various Team Apps? Or do you use a one-way transmission platform that does not permit open discussion, questions, and comments?

This is one of the reasons we offer a zero cost opportunity to attend informal workouts prior to committing to any form of payment. We also publish many FAQ's https://tgbabaseball.com/faq/
As for an open door policy... we have protocols in place for communicating with the specific teams coaches and age group coordinators who oversee teams. We leverage team apps and group texts. We do not allow parents to control teams in our organization and do not allow things such as constantly picking up outside players, moonlighting, etc. If you have additional questions, please use the contact form. https://tgbabaseball.com/coaches/ We will also answer questions at informal workouts and formal workouts. |
