My kid has been offered a coupla spots on 14u AAA/major teams, but I am reluctant after seeing their roster size of 15 players. Had a bad experience with it last year as did other parents on that team. My son had the 2nd highest OBP so earned playing time, yet it still seems a recipe for discontent as you never know how daddy-ball will develop, etc.
Is this the norm for this age group and ability level? Or is this just the coaches looking for a better payout?
