We are relocating to Gainesville and just learned that there is no Fall Ball there.

My son is currently 11 - will be 12 in March. We are completely new to travel ball - I'm assuming he needs to be on a 12u team?

He has played rec ball since the age of 7 and picked up a few games with a travel team last spring.

Any help would be appreciated - having trouble locating teams.

We are in Forsyth, not far away and will evaluate him if you are interested.

The Spring 2016 Mill Creek (AAA) travel baseball team has 2-3 spots available if interested in a tryout. We play out of Bogan Park in Buford, GA. Our team will be playing the Ripken Experience next summer in Pigeons Forge TN. Please contact Steve Spalding at spaldo@me.com if interested.

I am also looking for a team in Gainesville. Is park and rec ball pretty competitive? Is that why there are so few travel teams in the area?
