The 2015-16 Sandy Plains 10U Wildcats are looking for 1 or 2 more players to round out their roster.

We are following up on a successful 9U campaign where we took 5 championships and a 2nd place finish in the Grand Slam States.

We will be utilizing professional hitting instruction from the Sandy Plains Baseball Academy and can pull from other instructors (pitching/catching) in the Academy as needed.

To set up a workout or discuss our team/program please contact Coach Travis at sp10uwildcats@gmail.com

The primary goals of the 10U Wildcats coaching staff is to make a difference and be a positive influence in a child’s life by instilling the love of baseball by teaching the fundamentals and making it fun, all the while stressing safety. With the prior in place, winning will take care of itself. Players are taught to win and lose with dignity, class and respect. A residual of the above goals is to not just make better baseball players but better young men.

The manager, Jeff Travis, is the Director of the Sandy Plains Baseball Academy and has the following experience -

• Managed/Coached Youth Baseball for 40+ seasons (they add up when you have 3 boys)
• Doyle Baseball Instructor for 3 years(conducted Coach & Player schools - http://www.doylebaseball.com/)
• 40 years (and counting) as a player
• 6 years as an umpire
• Managed/Coached various men’s league teams since age 18
• Played college ball

Kelvin Bolden Bench coach/Catching coach
• Catcher at Southern University,
• 6 years of coaching youth baseball
• continues to play at a high level in local men's league.

If you have any questions about our program/team please feel free to contact Coach Travis at sp10uwildcats@gmail.com
