Recently came across this forum--pretty interesting discussions here.

I'm in a different part of the country--son plays for a team that does quite a bit of travelling. This year, we've already run into a few teams pretty obviously using doctored bats (all boys using same bat, check swing doubles, etc). There are a few 13U teams out there with at least some reputation for doing it (CF Wolverines, WF Hammerheads, Dallas Tigers, BC Phenom) but I was never really sure how much of that was true, and it seemed to be a small number of teams rumored to do it.

But now having seen it a few times already this year, I wonder if it's more prevalent than I thought. Do you guys see much of it in your area? I know a lot of high level baseball is played there so curious about your perspective as to whether this is a real/growing problem or just an isolated observation.
