Sawnee Mountain Thunder will be a new 1st year team based out of Sawnee Mountain Park. We are looking to add to an already solid core of players that have been playing together for several years. Our plan is to focus on developing excellent baseball players but also instilling positive traits such as teamwork, loyalty and life lessons that will help our young men succeed in life beyond baseball. We plan to begin playing at an AA or AAA level to begin the year and work ourselves to the major level. We have partnered up with the Denny Pritchett Baseball Clinic and will get professional coaching experience from Matt Pritchett throughout the season. Matt has built an impressive resume working with baseball/softball players of all ages for years. Matt will take a behind the scene approach to our team and assist with practices/instructions when available. We are looking to build a competitive baseball program that will stay intact for years to follow.
