The 11u Colt 45s Navy will be holding private workouts for those interested in joining the team for the 2017-2018 season.

The 45s will be coached by Head Coach Steve Crane. We are looking for 11-12 elite athletes with dedicated families that desire to compete and learn at the highest level.

We are sensitive to multi-sport athletes so we will play a light fall schedule with 3-4 Sunday only events. We will participate in weekly winter workouts with the staff of the East Cobb Academy and the 45s coaches and then play an elite 11u schedule throughout the southeast during the spring season.

The 11u 45s will continue to follow the model of past seasons with Wed practices run by Ben Blumenthal, co-owner of the East Cobb Academy and current HC of the 13u Astros.

If you are interested in a workout, please contact Steve Crane at ecacademycolt45s@gmail.com or call 404-660-0004. All inquiries will remain confidential.

In reply to numerous questions...

Our fall schedule will include Wed practice as well as Sunday practice on the weekends we are not playing a Sunday only event. Our fall tournament schedule is likely to be exclusively 12u major/open events.

If your son plays football, I understand if they are unable to consistently attend fall practice. The same goes for basketball players and winter workouts. The more I see them the better but we encourage multi sport athletes.

We will not attend a "World Series" unless it is a national tournament we are invited to. This year we played in the TBS National Championship and will participate in the PG Super 25 in Ft Myers, FL next week. Those are the type of events I am interested in.

I am not looking for specific positions but rather elite athletes that are willing to compete at the highest level.

I do not have a son on the team.

Steve

Yes, I am willing to look at an out of state player. The circumstances have to be right. Please call me to discuss.

As I did last season, I am holding one spot for an absolute difference maker on the mound AND at the plate. If that is your son, reach out to me.
