STaF Athletics Baseball Academy is holding open tryouts for our upcoming 2018 Spring JV Baseball season.

Up and coming 8th, 9th and 10th graders who do not have a place to play as a homeschooled athlete or players not interested in playing with their high school team are welcome to tryout.

STaF (Sacrifice, Teamwork & Faith) is located in Buford, GA and our Home Field is located in Duluth at First Baptist Church Duluth.

What: STaF Athletics Baseball Academy JV tryouts
When: Saturday, November 11, 2017 (10:00 am - 3:00 pm)
Where: Duluth First Baptist Church
2908 Duluth Highway 120, Duluth, GA 30096

We will conduct a Pro style tryout and have players face live pitching/game situation.

More about STaF Baseball Academy:

- Head Coach has been coaching for over 20 years, is a former college player and Georgia high school head coach (Fellowship Christian HS), and Level 1 instructor with Doyle Baseball for 7 years
- We focus on the fundamentals of the game encouraging players to be the best they can be in a Christ-centered environment
- We have kept individual team fees under $500 per player, per season for every season we have been in existence. In addition, we offer scholarships and fundraisers to minimize costs. Our fundraisers and scholarships in the spring of 2017 allowed each family to play with very little out of pocket expenses
- We will play a 25-35 game schedule in the spring season (March - May) with a mix of tournaments and other homeschool, academy and private school teams
- We will practice 2-3 times per week and provide individual instruction and "take home" drills for each player to work on when not at practice
- No tryout fee
