Registration for tryouts is open at www.GeorgiaBombersBaseball.com/tryouts.
***Only one tryout date is needed at Registration though you may register for more than one date if you wish. Coaches will Call-Back players for an addition workout if needed at no cost.
All tryouts are 100% Open Tryouts regardless if players were been Bombers this past season. Our Bombers professional staff will be selecting the top players who also have great character and will fit into our organizational model.
Each player will be put through an extensive evaluation and evaluated by our Bombers professional staff. Each player will be sent their professional evaluation card with all of the coaches notes and grades in numerous skill areas regardless if you make a Bombers team or not.
This year Bombers Baseball will be using Rapsodo Hitting and Pitching technology to give feedback to our players during tryouts. These evaluations will be done at Grand Slam Sports Center at the times listed in the Tryouts Flyer.
We will conduct all Hitting and Pitching Evaluations at Grand Slam Sports Center and all Defense and On-Field Hitting will be done on the field.
Rapsodo Hitting will allow us to give your player his Exit Velocity, Launch Angle, Exit Direction, Ball Distance, and more.
Rapsodo Pitching will allow us to see Pitch Velocity, Spin Rate, Strike Zone Analysis, Horizontal and Vertical Break, and more.
We will also be using this technology within the organization to help develop our players. Each player in our organization will have a Rapsodo account from tryouts where us as a staff and your player will be able to keep track of your progress through the technology helping us develop our ballplayers into the best they can be. This is a technology that currently no other organization is offering their ballplayers. |
