As our kids wind down their 11u season and some folks are looking around for better opportunities for their players, was curious if anyone else has noticed the lack of AAA teams in the age group?

I notice 2-3 players on many AA teams that could hang in AAA...and maybe a few players that are filling roster spots until the coach can find someone better. Quite a few AAA teams playing down in AA tournaments to boost morale after getting shelled in AAA.

What's stopping some of the better AA teams from attracting talent and moving up? Why are so many AA/AAA teams so watered down? Too many teams?

Thereís plenty out there, and thereís plenty of good ones. Just seems like the natural progression is taking place, many of those kids have left for or are heading to ECB, Georgia Jackets, 643(even though their talent level at this age group isnít the same as some of the other big organizations). Frankly thereís probably only 8 -10 legit major teams at this age group primarily because there are so many decent AAA squads.
