The 643 Cougars, EC Yankees, Elite Squad, Team Elite Select, Tri State Arsenal and Colt 45's should be the 6 in the mix to win it.

Winner will probably come down to 643 Cougars and Elite Squad.

It's hard to say when many teams are missing players due to HS ball. I know some are using pick ups to get through the spring. I lean with the cougars as they have some play time under their belts. This isn't the elite squad prime but I'm sure it will be a fairly talented group if they are going to travel this far to play. It's early baseball and teams are just trying to get reps and field time. Hopefully it will warm up and some good ball is played to start off the season.

Seems like the bats I saw were pretty rusty for most except for the 643 team. The Miami team apparently started hitting as they run ruled the Yankees. I honestly expected a lot more from the Yankees team than they showed; they do have some really good pitching though. I certainly have not been able to see everyone yet so the Top 5 list for me is still out there

Looking forward to lots more baseball

Just to create convo, what more did you expect from the Yankees bfriendly? Heck, this was the first tournament for many teams and some hadn't even touched a field. Can good pitching and run ruled even be in the same sentence?

JMO..there are too many travel teams and talent has been stretched thin amongst teams. That top 5 or 10 talk keeps coming up and really there isn't anything to discuss, Astros Bombers or Cougars. Those are the top teams in no particular order and they can cherry pick the pool of talent.

Everyone else battles for the remainder to put a descent team on the field, but in the end, they lack depth in the roster to make it through a 5-7 game tournament. Not to say they can't beat one of those 3, but that doesn't make them better.
