In the interest of providing a professional response, the form does not reflect a fee. With that said, during the formal tryout process (late Summer) at the conclusion of the prior season, TGBA is one of the few programs to offer options to attend a workout without paying formal tryout fees essentially an opportunity for families/players to work with our coaches prior to committing to a formal tryout. In cases where we have an opening or two, etc at a particular age group after the Fall, we offer a similar option (as linked).

If a player works out and does not have a realistic chance of making a team, we do our best to inform them it is not in their best interest to register for a formal tryout. Given your son is a 16u, if he is a legitimate college prospect, only a handful of organizations have a long track record of success working with universities around the country. Each of these organizations charge for player evaluations, in some cases up to $125.

We wish your son the best of luck finding a new 16u team.
