Posted - 11/03/2014 : 10:04:18 I think I am going to go in the scoreboard business. Repair and new sales. There is obviously room for improvement and some money to be made. Still amazed everytime we play in a tournament and the scoreboard does not work. Maybe from now on I will just expect it not to work and if it does it will just be a bonus. |

Posted - 11/18/2014 : 13:41:33 I heard some of the high schools don't turn them on to save bulbs.... wait you are getting a gate fee? If I am paying a gate fee I expect a scoreboard.. Never seen a college or pro game with no scoreboard, isn't that what we are trying to do is simulate the big leagues. Spend a lot of money on nice fields with no scoreboards. Crazy... |

Posted - 11/10/2014 : 10:51:29 What is even more frustrating is that many of these 'non working' scoreboards work just fine. It is often just that the field owners don't arrange for folks to work them. Drives me nuts. Inexcusable. |

Posted - 11/03/2014 : 14:50:59 I have found that the older the kids get the less likely the score boards will work. |
