My son played on a TL tournament 2 weeks ago... The umps were fantastic, kind of people that are looking to develop the kids rather than only call balls and strikes.

I have not heard of a rec league, but we have been playing Training Legends tourney event for the last few years and have not been disappointed...........

We were at Hobgood this past Sunday and I agree with Zig, they did everything possible to make it happen, but it just didn't stop raining.

Our 10u team played in a Sunday-only TL event last weekend. Weather didn't cooperate and it was rained out after the first game. Monday morning I got a call that they were not only refunding half the entry fee but also contributing $25 towards our next tournament ($25 towards any tournament, didn't even have to be one thru TL!). Needless to say I'm very impressed. Those guys worked like heck to prep the fields in between showers last Sunday and probably used 2 pallets of quick dry, all to no avail cause of the weather. They didn't need to do anything for us but got that very nice call on Monday morning. We'll definitely be playing more TL events in the Spring the way they handled this last weekend.
