Prep Baseball Report recently unveiled its full calendar of youth baseball events at LakePoint Sporting Community in Emerson, GA. To further enhance its youth tournament offerings, Prep Baseball Report has aligned with Travelballselect (TbS) - a prominent media and events brand in youth baseball - to provide teams, athletes and parents an unparalleled baseball experience at LakePoint's eight all-turf, amenity-rich complex during the 2019 spring season.

Beginning March 1 and running through the end of May, a full schedule of youth spring tournaments, ages 8-14, will be run at LakePoint's state-of-the-art facility, which includes age-appropriate fencing, turf fields, scoreboards, two batting cages per field, and coverage through Travelballselect and Prep Baseball Report.

Since its inception in 2006, Travelbalselect has long been considered a leading news source and media outlet for youth baseball. Unbiased with a strong national following, TbS expanded into running tournaments across the country in 2012, headlined by the highly regarded Travelballselect National Championships. TbS National Director Rick Goff resides in Atlanta.

"Rick Goff is deeply entrenched in youth baseball, particularly the Georgia market, and has a level of expertise in the field rivaled by few," said Prep Baseball Report President Sean Duncan. "Travelballselect has built a reputation over the years of running quality high-level events, ethically and professionally, which aligns with Prep Baseball Report's core principles of operations."

Founded in 2005, Prep Baseball Report operates in 41 states and Canada, and runs hundreds of stratified levels of events across the country. With more than 150 scouts, Prep Baseball Report has the nation's largest baseball scouting infrastructure across all levels of amateur baseball. Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for amateur baseball in every state of operation through its variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms.

LakePoint Sporting Community is widely considered the nation's preeminent baseball complex. The 1,300-acre destination opened in 2014. Facilities include eight Major League-sized baseball fields, three multi-use fields for soccer, lacrosse and football, 12 basketball courts, 24 indoor volleyball courts, a 170,000-square-foot indoor sports center, hotels, restaurants and entertainment venues.
