East Cobb Academic Showcase

Dates: June 15th - June 16th, 2015 at East Cobb Complex Field 3. Check In at 3:00pm on June 15, 2015.
Cost $250 per player. Team discounts are available for teams that have 10 or more players participate in the event.
Wofford Coach Jason Burke on our Academic Showcase: "The East Cobb Patriots Academic Showcase has been a great for us to see some of the best academic players that are looking for both a high quality baseball experience and academic setting. We have been fortunate enough to recruit and sign players from this event the previous five years, and put it as a must for us to attend on a yearly basis."

It provides us an opportunity to see outstanding baseball players with outstanding grades. The number of student-athletes mixed with all the colleges that attend is a win-win situation for both."
Schools that Attended 2014 East Cobb Academic Showcases
Columbia, Princeton, Wofford, Davidson, Tufts, Coast Guard, Denison, Lee, Tusculum, Centre, Kennesaw State, Georgia State, Georgia College and State, Lagrange, Ohio Wesleyan, Oglethorpe, Maryville, Young Harris, Sewanee, Emory, Piedmont, Milsaps, George Washington, Montevallo, Covenant, Birmingham Southern, Berry, Morehouse, Rhodes, Harding, Washington and Lee, Presbyterian, Samford, Air Force, Bard, and Mercer.
Event Format Day 1: Registration, Stretching, 60yard-time, throwing warm-up, infield and outfield evaluation, catching pop-times, hitting, bullpens. Day 2: Teams scrimmaging. Pitchers evaluated during scrimmage games. Pitcher-only's pitch two innings, two way players pitch one inning.
Registration Information: You must have a 3.0 GPA or 85% overall grade to register for the Showcase. The entry cost is only $250. Participation is limited to the first 120 student athletes to register.
