How good is the coaching your child is getting? While I think most of us "believe" that we are getting great coaching - I think we can all agree that some programs are better than others. Below is a link that I highly recommend to all parents who are reading this forum. If your child is a top level athlete - it applies. If your child is not (yet ) a top level athlete - it still applies.

While it is 24 minutes long - there are a ton of great nuggets. And these are tips that we as parents can talk with our kids about while in the car on the way to/from practice.

From my perspective...it is the kids/athletes who best handle the mental aspects of competition will excel - both in high school and beyond.

And yes...our coaches do apply many of these techniques. Enjoy!
