What's the deal with the Chrome Helmets? Saw several players wearing them this weekend at 15U. The sun reflecting off of them was blinding. Wonder how long until they are banned? Seems like if a pitcher can't wear anything distracting, that the batter should be held to the same standard, and those helmets certainly are distracting!

Little League has updated their 2015 rules stating “Helmets must have a non-glare surface and cannot be mirror-like in nature." Umpires will be instructed to remove from play any helmets that do not comply with Little League rules.

Since no one else is answering I thought I would share this other thread. Apparently several organizations have banned the chrome helmets...just be patient.
