People,

If you haven't played in the Xtreme Memorial Weekend Tournament, you are surely missing a treat.
Outstanding job done by the HOST team of providing an atmosphere that was first class in all aspects.
Great teams, fields were very well kept and prepared, solid umpires, and to top it off they kept the coaches well feed too.

The Jags came home with the hardware in the Gold Bracket and The Ga Stampede prevailed in the Silver Brackets.

Not to be overlooked was the EC Seminoles defeat of the Knoxville Stars and the 10u Xpress advancing to the Semi-Final round of the Silver Bracket.

GREAT GREAT weekend of baseball

The Xtreme Tournament just gets better and better each year. This is especially since there is no USSSA/TC/AAU attachment to it. The list of teams that this tournament continues to attract speaks volumes about what a great job Monty and his group does. Hats off to them for a well run/organized event. The fields were in perfect condition and the weather held off quite nicely.

Congrats to all of the teams for participating but in particular the Southern Jaguars. The Jaguars continue to impress as they just go about their business. The Stixx were a formidable opponent but the Jags proved to be too strong. The EC Braves pitched a very good game and played well defensively but the Jags bats woke up in the end as they squeaked out a victory in the final inning. In the championship, the Roadrunners were pumped from the beginning as they took an early lead but again, the jags showed lots of heart and determination fighting back and then making it look easy in the end.
If you haven't seen these kids play, you should. They are very athletic, big in size, strong, disciplined and well coached. Hats off again to the Jags!

What a great weekend of baseball.

We had great final games in both brackets:

Southern Jaguars vs Georgia Roadrunners and

Georgia Stampede vs Sharon Springs Spartans.

The Jaguars and the Stampede bring home the top spots.

Thanks to all the teams for making this one of the most successful Xtreme Shoot-outs

We look forward to seeing everyone next year.

Jags played well today... Stixx is a very solid team. Braves had them on the ropes. Roadrunners played them tough but Jags bats and coaching prevailed in the end.
Would like to see the Stixx, Roadrunners, EC Stars, EC Braves, EC Longhorns, & Jags in a Round Robin.

Congrats to Coach Ron on a well played weekend.
Coach Corbin's team is right there at all times

Southern Jaguars go through the Georgia Roadrunners, East Cobb Braves, and Stixx Baseball to win the Kennesaw Shootout. Congrats for winning their 2nd big tournament in a row.

Is there a website for this tournament with the brackets and score updates? I would think so as this is a very big, annual tourney.

Are the brackets posted for this tournament yet?

My pick is the Southern Jaguars to win it by the way.

We know that the Southern Jaguars, Georgia Roadrunners, Knoxville Stars, Chattanooga Colonels, and East Cobb Braves are going to do good. The Knoxville Sluggers and the Georgia Academy Red are the sleeper teams.

11U. Pretty easy to pick the favorites here. First tier --Knoxville Stars, Jaguars, Roadrunners. Second tier --Chatt Colonels, East Cobb Braves, Mill Creek. Ga Academy Red also looked very good last weekend at Lagrange until running into the Stars in the finals. They are my sleeper pick for this week.

I was told weeks ago that the EC Stars won't be playing in this one, even though their name is on the list. Not sure if that has changed or not.

Not sure all of these teams are actually coming. Better wait till schedules come out to see if all the big dogs are coming.
