With the end of the season coming up, after a trip to Cooperstown at the end of this month, I was trying to find out when rising 13U teams begin looking to fill spots for the fall season. My son has given up football and is looking for a major 13U team to play with this fall. He's 5' 11' hard throwing lefty pitcher that can play 1st base or the outfield. He hits the occasional long ball, but is a better line-drive hitter. We live in the South Forsyth area, but are used to playing most of our games at East Cobb so the drive isn't really an issue if the fit is right.

Should I keep checking on these forums for tryout information or is there another place I should be looking?

Typically the fall teams are the spring teams that are trying to get some games in during the fall. It is not usually a "Fall Only" team. I would look to whatever team you are going to play with in the spring to see if they are planning on playing in the fall. There are a few teams that throw together to play in the fall because their spring teams have too many kids playing football. Those are not typical, though.
