If my son is playing on a team that is eliminated early, can he play on another team while there if asked? What about a team with an injury?

TIA

As for a team with an injury....each team is REQUIRED to bring 12 kids...so while there were injuries for sure there were enough players to continue on.

The teams that made it far were, for the most part, the "state" teams. Meaning these kids are the best in the state and have come together specifically FOR Cooperstown. You will see 6ft+ kids there, kids that look like they shaved that morning, and when throwing from a 50 foot mound that 70mph+ pitch was brutal! I have an impressive picture of a beauty my son took to the back of his shoulder, complete with seams!

But seriously, it's a week your kid won't forget and I sincerely hope your coaches play your kids so they have the most fun possible. For my sons week there was no bunting, every kid got a shot to clear that wall, and every kid got to play whatever position they wanted for at least one inning. Unless your kid is on a top level Major program team then there is just no shot of winning so you should let those 12u kids have a blast and not worry about wins or losses, embrace the fun!

Clarification - the roster requirement is a minimum of 11.

No. Teams are rostered at check-in. There is no "hopping" once rostered.

99.9% sure only one team per week. They might let him play on a second team if you pay another $895 (LOL)
