Posted - 07/24/2009 : 21:05:59 bigdog, At 14U - 16U, EC deems the Astros as the #1 team, and the Titans as #2. After that, there is no pecking order. History will tell you that Scott will have a strong team with the Stallions whether designated as the top team or not. History will also tell you that the Astros will be one of the best teams in the country as well. Red Martin had a very successful year with the Titans and I expect him to get a lot of kids that don't make the Astros, but are not committed to another team. |

Posted - 07/22/2009 : 22:15:09 My son plays on the 13U (moving to 14U) ECB Warriors so we see and talk to some of the players, parents and coaches of the other teams at the park so that is where my information comes from as far as the returning 13U moving up to the 14's for 2010.
Not 100% on the Combat but we had a player who was supposed to be leaving us for the Combat for the 2010 season but that may have changed. |

Posted - 07/22/2009 : 14:12:27 so if the Titans are supposed to be the #2 teams where does that put the Stallions?
Slider...as Dr. Old School referred above...I dont think Combat is going to be back. |

dmb350, I think you are mistaken regarding one of those teams. Four of five of those teams are looking for players on Northwest baseball according to posts all ready out there. I heard one was going to have significant changes....basically what baseballnation was referring to...

Posted - 07/22/2009 : 12:55:33 I don't think Combat is returning, but the others are moving up. There will be the Astros (Dave Roberts - www.eteamz.com/eastcobbastros14U) and Titans (Red Martin - www.ectitans.com), which are the two reoccurring designated #1 and #2 teams for 14U and up, as well. |

The ECB Stallions, Longhorns, Warriors, Combat and Braves are all returning this year with the same coaches and a core group of players from the previous season. Almost all have postings in the 14U tryouts area and have links to their respective team websites.
I don't know about that. At least one of the teams mentioned above has only 1 of 4 coaches returning and perhaps only 3 players. |

It's top secret.
I think every 13U team is coming back, but don't quote me. Longhorns, Stallions, Braves and Warriors have announced themselves in the 14U Teams Looking for Players section. I'm pretty sure the Chargers and Combat will be back. Don't know about the Shamrocks. I think there may be one new team as well.
Again don't quote me, but that's what I heard as the season was winding down.
