I have taken my son to several tryouts in which he has shown very well. Some tryouts were with numerous kids trying out for one position, other tryouts were "open" and we know how that goes....coaches have told me he was barely edges out of a spot and that he is a great athlete....so here we after silly season and are without a home....I was shooting for a solid AAA team....so here is my question, he is very well rounded with a decent bat ans can pitch, great attitude and very coachable......in a nutshell he is very solid but no wow factor at the tryouts.....what should we focus and improve on to get over that hump?
