Posted - 03/11/2013 : 10:31:37 My son loves a bat that his older brother had success with. It is 5 years old but surprisingly still has good pop and shape. Problem - no 1.15 BPF sticker. Louisville Slugger 2-5/8, 30/21. Sandy Plains rec requires the sticker. I assume Travel Ball will too. He is a strong hitter, so I could see an over zealous Manager checking his bat. Are older bats grandfathered in? I will buy him a new bat if necessary, but you know how kids are psychologically about bats that they hit well. I know there are a million posts on new bat rules, but I don't want to have to spend the time investigating. If you are an authority on this, please let me know. Thanks! |
