Do you all wash your boys baseball hats in the washer? I've tried this before and it doesn't work very well. Any suggestions?

What??? That's funny, now I think I've heard it all!

Try putting it on the top rack of your dish washer. This works well for me. You may have to run it through the dryer or let it air dry a little just to finish drying it.

Top rack of the DISHwasher. Empty except for the cap. Then remove and hang the cap to dry. DON'T use dishwasher detergent when you run the cycle. Most of those detergents will fade out the embroidery. You can give the cap a light spray of "Spray 'n Wash" or "Shout" and even spray the lining with some "Febreze" to kill the odor. Then just run it through the normal cycle. Cap won't lose it's shape and this does a pretty good job of cleaning.

I like washing them in the top rack of the dishwasher. Works well.

I have washed my son's hats in the washer before. Take them out immediately, shape them back, and let air dry. I usually wait til middle of the season to wash them.

Dbltrbl, you can buy a hat holder that's made of plastic and keeps the hat in its correct shape then you spray it with spray and wash and put in dishwasher with a little dish washing detergent. Short cycle, and don't heat dry. Then just dry in holder outside in the sun. It will look new again and still be in its correct shape. Works great!

There are cap holders that you can use in the dishwasher. They help keep the shape of the cap. I've been meaning to get one, but I just planned ahead and ordered a few extra caps for him to use when this one gets too nasty (the white is already turning brown!)...and it's ONLY March!!!
