 Coach says he isn't coming back in the fall. 2 kids bailed on our beach trip causing none of us to be able to go.I worked my butt off this spring so junior could be on this team.Now what??
AND, we have a winning record. What's wrong with people??? |

Sorry to hear that rippit. I know how excited you were at the beginning of the season and how much work you put in.
Maybe you can find a team for your son to join for an end of year trip!
Too bad some people are NEVER satisfied! |

Already gave up our spot.Thought this year would be a very good experience down there too after having a winning season, yet some folks still aren't happy. What a shame. |

Completely agree! Put out a post and get some pick ups. I know our team is not doing a World Series this year and could easily send 5 or more boys your way. I understand your frustration for the fall too. We have had coaches not come back in the fall and it does stink. It is nice to be able to keep a team together for more than one season. Good luck and let us know if you need players. |

Gwinnett is right! Last year we let 4 of our AAA players go to PCB with a rec team so those kids could go and compete. Our 4 had a blast because they got to play in spots they normally dont on their AAA team (catcher, shortstop, 1st). Lost every game but didnt get run ruled once and ALL the kids had a blast!
Ask around and post of forum! Just dont be too picky as it's about the experience not winning every game! |

rippit, I feel for you. We had a couple that couldnt go either. Planned all year, same result. Feels unfinished dont it. I think ours was mostly the economy. Money just ended up being too much for some family situations. At least we will have same coaching staff and most returning players (minus improvements), and try again next year. Rippit, possibly try and get some other players to go with your team. You might even try posting it on this forum. Its no fun when someone bails on your end of the year beach trip tourney! Don't be to picky just find some kids to fill in.
