So looking for advice/experience with anyone having kids just sit out fall baseball rather than join a travel program just to be on a team.

Done tryouts but either didn't receive an offer or the offer wasn't were we wanted to be for this reason or that. Just not going to throw money in a hole if its not the right fit. Contemplating sitting out, save the money for instruction and maybe pick up for fall ball.

We all know there is a second "silly season" as I call it after/during fall when kids/families jump ship for various reasons. So I don't feel pressured to join now, wait until January.

Anyone?
